This restaurant was once a family home and has been remodeled to maintain the home's classic beauty. You can catch the $1. trolley and get dropped off right in front of the restaurant. They have a $5 drink special each day. My friend and I dined on Mojito Thursday. The drinks were strong, refreshing, and delicious. The menu has upscale Mediterranean dishes, salad, and very fresh food. I recommend you skip the touristy places along the beach and try this authentic restaurant. The wait staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. Reasonable prices and great food!
Went in the evening around 6 PM. Good food and great service. Only downside is that the tables are woefully close to each other to accommodate more people. If you in for a quiet intimate experience then good luck to you if you get to sit beside loud folks. With the tables so close you might very well join in on the neighbors conversation. Other than that a lovely place especially if you are lucky enough to get a seat in the top balcony overlooking the ocean
Really liked this place. Great ambience, good location, indoor and outdoor seating, good wine choices and good food. Can be very busy but they don't seem to take reservations so be prepared to wait. Good veggie options too and were willing to make adjustments for your needs. Good courteous service. Outdouseating facing the beach makes it an ideal location for bite with a date or with friends and family. Some might find it crowded and could get noisy but that's also part of the charm.
I went to Casablanca Cafe during happy hour because it was conveniently located near the hotel where I am staying. The bartender, Sam, took great care of me. The drinks were strong and sweet, and all of the food delicious! I took advantage of the happy hour specials, which were very reasonably priced. I had the shrimp kabobs, pork tenderloin, and calamari small plates. Each tasted great, and the sauces used were delicious as well. I will definitely be making another visit before checkout!
Fantastic food and service. Totally not a tourist trap like many of the places down the street. The atmosphere is much quieter as well. The historic building has great views of the ocean and beach. Finally the icing on the cake is that this place is a pokestop.
