Antique Cars are the quintessential crowd puller. People are either fascinated by the ways of the olden days, or  they really miss and grab any chance to reminisce and time travel, temporary as it may be. The Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum houses over two dozen Packard cars between 1900 and 1940, which can still very much be used. Apart from the final product, the car, the Museum also showcases a lot of other parts that go into assembling a car. A new wing has been recently added features a library that has a huge collection of written material on cars.

  • I've been here numerous times with multiple guests from out of town. The cars are immaculate and awesome. The venue is cool, clean and quiet. From what I understand, the place also hosts private events. If you're a car fan or just a history buff, you won't be disappointed.

  • This place is well worth the stop. It was very interesting to learn about the Packard Company. This collection is simply amazing. I would recommend to anyone, especially someone interested in cars.

  • Fantastic collection of Packard cars. Loved to see the vintage cars all in immaculate condition. Spent a little over an hour but it was almost closing time when we went. Should have gone earlier in the day. The sad fact is that the museum is not well advertised and doesn't come higher up in the rankings for things to do in Ft. Lauderdale. However, for people who love vintage cars this is a must visit spot.

  • Visiting Fort Lauderdale and stopping at the Antique car museum was a great idea. At a low cost of 10$ you will be taken back in the 19 century. This museum has very friendly staff that will take time you explain the story of each unique cars. The walls are filled with all kind of old car accessories from car emblems to window sliding knobs. It's interesting to read each car story and believe that our grand parents where driving those.

  • What an amazing find! Very inexpensive to get in, amazing collection of Packard automobiles. Could spend a few hours looking at cars and reading about them. Not a place for small children for sure.
