  • Nice facilities. Bathrooms were clean. Grass well manicured. We were told that there were only primitive sites available yet our site had electricity and water nearby. Out houses with good ventilation we're not far away as well. I wouldn't call it primitive camping. But I liked the electricity! We got a site with a messed up fire ring and asked to move but had to pay 2.50 just to move over when no one else was around. That seemed ridiculous. We almost had the place to ourselves. Our visit was #10 on our list of state parks visited in ND. Two more left, then we start on the recreation areas. Overall, a nice place to camp.

  • This park is well maintained. There are multiple hiking trails and you can take any one of them ranging from 2 miles to 8 miles. The parking is $7 per day. They have camping option as well. Worderful experience. Definitely recommend

  • The nature aspect of it. Only wish there was a pool or some type of dam near the river to wade in and cool off. The river is to fast to do so without. Otherwise great place. They do a lot to keep the campers busy with different events. The trails we excellent.

  • Sodbusters is terrific! Everyone should visit. There are many interesting things to see and do in a perfect setting. Living history at its best. They have camping and a river to fish or kayak, many hiking trails in Ft. Ransom State Park.

  • We camped in in the equestrian camp with electrical. Very well maintained camp, trails well maintained. Excellent views from the trails, highly recommend this place to camp. There is drinking water/ waste stations available. This was very convenient for having a camper.
