About Fort Worth Water Gardens, Fort Worth
This garden was built in 1974 on the southern end of the Downtown area of the city. This park is called as the “cooling oasis in the concrete jungle”. The main parts of this place are the 3 pools of water and a terraced knoll that hides the garden from the noisy city streets.
The beautiful serenity of the pool is broken by the sound of the rippling waters from the top of the thin walls to the blue pool. The sound of the water, if heard with eyes closed is just like rain drops pouring. The whole place is surrounded by cypress and oaks. There are also many other spray pools acting as extra coolants. The place definitely is therapeutic for the mind and body.

Absolutely stunning place. It's was very soothing to listen to all that running water. It's a great photo place too. it's a must stop for when visiting Fort worth. makes you want to jump in for a dip when visiting in that hot Texas heat but that is not allowed of course. Make sure to bring water too as I was surprised there were no water fountains for tourist to drink.
A surprisingly stunning man-made water garden! The scale of everything is super impressive! It’s a relaxing place to get a bit of calm in the busy part of town. Some of the pools I wish were a little better lit for a night visit, others benefitted from the night! I’d love to come back one day to see some of this stuff in the day!
When I’m on the Fort Worth side of the Metroplex, I enjoy visiting the Water Gardens, as it is a piece of tranquility in the middle of a busy city (and its Free!) From the three pools of water you can enjoy and relax the day away. If you are from out of the area, it is a great place to visit. A hidden gem right in Downtown Fort Worth.
Have wanted to see this place ever since Logan's Run. More to it than just the one pool too. Lots of peaceful settings. Beautiful place. If I lived nearby I'd be there all the time.
I loved this place. It was surrounded with many people and I saw the police there so we didn't need to be scared of homeless. There are three water fountains. You can take great pictures with your friends and your family. It is also adjacent to Fort Worth Station so you can reach there 10 minutes of walking.
