Modern Art Museum Of Fort Worth, Fort Worth Reviews
Went with some friends on a free Friday and had a really great time. The museum is clean and very well kept. The attendants watching the art are attentive, pleasant and almost invisible unless they need to remind people of etiquette. It was nice that you could go in any direction and still get to see everything in a smooth and easy flow at my own speed. I drove over and hour to see these special pieces and was very pleased with my experience. Thank you for offering the free days as it made it even more appealing to make it out there and do it on a budget.
Ft Worth has a lot of great museums and this is my favorite. The exhibits are great and the building is awesome inside and out. The restaurant has a great brunch and a pretty good happy hour too. There is also a movie theater that has many showings a month, and some of them are free. This museum also hosts the Fortress music festival every April with a bunch of great acts. The exhibits have free admission every Friday and half price one other day. Definitely check this place out when you can.
An incredible museum in Fort Worth. We visit the Modern regularly and the variety of exhibits never ceases to amaze me. They rotate the permanent collection fairly often so there is always something new in house. They also attract a lot of really good traveling exhibits which really make it worthwhile to come again and again.
My family loves to come to the Modern. The traveling exhibits are always great, and the permanent collection has some amazing pieces by Warhol, Picasso, Pollock, Lichtenstein, etc. We always come on the free admission day so as not to break the bank, but if I could afford it I would become a member in a heartbeat. This is one of my favorite things about living in Fort Worth, and we come almost once a month. Highly recommended for fans of modern art, culture, or even just air conditioning. Tons of great photo spots, so be sure bring a camera!
This place has wonderful exhibits all the time and the traveling exhibits are stunning. They have great kids programs and camps and they even have some days that are free. I have enjoyed bringing my kids since they were little. You'd be amazed at the things kids will notice and i think it is nice to teach them to be respectful of the art (and other people) early. My 6 year old just finished her summer camp and said "Can I come back next year!?"
