Dragão do Mar is for sure one of the most interesting places in Fortaleza. Not just the culture center itself, but the lively, pedestrian friendly and contemporary surroundings. Day or night, you will find something to do, to see, to taste or buy.
The exhibitions were cool! But it was hard to get around there because there weren't any signs. There's a nice looking cafe, but it opens at 3pm. It was very empty during day time but that was nice.
Coffee shop Santa Clara is excellent, but the Dragão do mar place have no visual orientation available, no elevator working, some places closed without any indication of it's time availability
Design manifests culture, and culture rests firmly on the foundation of what we believe to be true about the world.
What a brilliant little slice of Brazilian and Fortalezan culture in this diverse museum. Fantastic collection of modern art from local artists as well as an outdoor path that gives you great views of central and a handful of classic buildings.
