Mercado Central, Fortaleza Reviews

  • Interesting place to buy pritty much everything you want as a souvenir. Try bargening as much as you can

  • Good market for artisan goods, manufactured shoes, clothes, some food, etc. As you climb the stories, prices are lower. Watch your belongings. Sunday’s open until 1pm. Take the 11 bus which stops right in front of the door.

  • Great variety of goods, decent prices, bargaining is possible (depending on value and type of goods). There are a lot of touristic articles, though (shirts, bags, ...). I liked it!

  • Very short and precise: a must for any tourist, who is eager for really nice souvenirs! In the basement you find a perfect smoothy bar, where you can choose any fruit (and combination) to get a very fresh prepared smoothy

  • If you would like to take any gift or handcrafted stuff, this is the right place to visit, eat some regional meal and bargain.
