  • The self-service, pay-by-weight cafés aren’t particularly good and they aren’t particularly cheap, but for most travellers they are affordable. You get to see the food and design your meal, which, for me at least, is reassuring (for health reasons I’m on a low-fat diet, which isn’t always easy to follow in Brazil).

  • Shopping popular enorme, onde se encontra de tudo da cultura local, porém muito quente e abafado.

  • Wow - if you’re looking for anything and everything, you’re bound to find it here! I spent a good hour wondering from floor to floor without finding anything in particular but still enjoying the exploration. Things are dirt cheap and if you’re a tourist looking for souvenirs, this a good place to start

  • Great for bargains and bikinis the atm's were crazy busy when we were there so if you can take cash with you.

  • Nice place for local goodies
