Daqitou village is located in Foshan, and is a representative village of the Guangdong province. It was built during Qing dynasty and demonstrates traditional Guangdong architectural style and culture. The village has been acknowledged as China culture heritage. The houses at the village are designed in the typical Cantonese way, with three rooms and two corridors in every house. The front of the house is extended in order to build a stone ridge on it; this extension gives it a shape of a kettle mouth. The Chinese culture’s ‘Scholar’s four jewels’ (Writing brush, ink stick, ink slab and writing paper), can be seen through the village, depicted in the form of Pagoda, Pond and the grounds.
