The Qinghui garden, located in the Shunde district of Foshan city, is renowned as one of the four major gardens of Guangdong and top ten gardens of China. The garden was constructed under the supervision of a very successful landscape advisor of the late Ming dynasty, and has witnessed several restorations and expansions in the recent times. The garden’s architecture exhibits magnificent artistic elements. Major parts of garden’s decoration are done with ceramics, woodcarvings, and glass and plaster molding. A set of the eight great scenic sights of Guangzhou, made of glass, is kept here. This set alone has been labeled by the state as a class-one cultural relic. Highlights and must sees include:
