The Zumiao Ancestor’s temple, located in the Foshan city, was built in the Northern Song dynasty. The temple was primarily used to honour the founder of the local smelting industry, and later was used to offer Sacrifices to the Xuantian God. Spread over an area of 3,500 square meters, the Ancestral temple demonstrates a remarkably refined architecture and design.
