The Svevo Castle is a Norman Castle built around 1132 is surrounded by Moats on three sides except the North wing. The north wing is bordering the sea and can be accessed from the bridge and decorated gate at the south side equipped with the Bourbon coat of arms. You will see the tranquil internal courtyard that leads to the main core. The majestic castle has Aragon walls armed with large bastions. The Hohenstaufen tower is mainly used for exhibitions. The different towers were used for various purposes. The vaults supported with columns and pilasters also bear a medieval Renaissance touch.
