A museum for the history buffs, you cannot miss this if you like culture & heritage. The museum of Franconia Heritage in Franconia which opened doors in 1998 offers the public a collection preserved for years. The collection includes artefacts, displays, information by Sarah Nelson Welch who was the great granddaughter of one of the first white men to watch the Old Man of Mountains in 1805. Over the years, local visitors and families also contributed their artefacts to this museum. A fully-furnished museum, this is a great trip for families and grandparents too. The museum also allows educational tours for schools and universities.
