Liebiqhaus - Review
A surreal 19th century villa in Frankfurt, Liebieghaus is more than just a huge house. The home of a former textile manufacturer Baron Heinrich von Liebieg, it is also a sculpture museum and is a part of the museumsufer of Frankfurt.
The sculpture collection includes rare and artistic masterpieces from Roman, Greek, Egyptian as well as pieces of art from east. The art has a strong presence of influences from Medieval, Baroque, Renaissance and Classicist pieces. A private collection, the museum has international arts purchased because of the likes of the owner of the villa.
Temporary exhibits also happen periodically.

Liebiqhaus, Frankfurt Reviews
Outstanding European sculpture collection from ancient times through the Renaissance. There is a small but high-quality collection of Asian sculpture as well. Convenient to the Stadel Museum, and well worth the time.
Very interesting way of mixing old and modern sculpture. The information on old pieces is kind of light on details and there's not too much guidance.
Nothing really spectacular, but the temporary exhibitions always tend to be very good.
William kentridge exhibition is wonderful in the antique setting
Wonderful garden. Delicious cakes to accompany your tea or coffee
