Romerberg, Frankfurt Reviews - Write a Review
This is a beautiful square. It gets a little tight around the Christmas market, but at other times, the square is bordered by great restaurants and shops. Be critical of the souvenir vendors in that area. I couldn't distinguish if what they were offering were uniquely German items.
Great historic town square. Easily accessible via public transport, and with good options for dining, shopping, and experiencing this particularly old part of Frankfurt. Love that Frankfurt's reputation as an expo city traces back to medieval times.
There's been about a billion wonderful visits to Frankfurt that either started here or went through here ... this is THE place to be!!! It's quite easy to get to just about anywhere you'd want to go in Frankfurt from here and don't forget to grab yourself a coffee in one of the shops of from a nearby stand.
Great place. However, not all buildings are old. Designed and made to look very old, most of these buildings are quite new. But the old world charm of the place is not lost. Unfortunately, the time when we were there the Fountain of Justice was undergoing renovation. A short walk from here, takes you to the river. Carry your camera.
I Like the Christmas market. The sight of the night is beautiful. Very near to the river
