  • Nice open space surrounded by shops to sit eat drink and buy gifts. Close to the ferry stop, tram, and underground. Many street performers, sometimes exhibits. Museum also there. Next lanes have shopping center and lines of cafes and restaurants. Easy to walk here following maps.

  • The building again... plus the walk to get to Römerberg was even more beautiful to me. There was an icecream place nearby that served a variety and I really enjoyed it. The Am main Bridge is just nearby so you could go over after visiting Römerberg to maybe lock a padlock(for the lovers) and get a beautiful view. Perfect to go during the afternoon

  • Beautiful Christmas Market. Very well decorated and lots of delicious food, suitable for vegetarians and some options even for vegans. I loved the potatoes with apple sauce, the nice huge pork stake, also some pancakes with nutella and in the end had some Hungarian chimney cake. Red glue wine is really delicious but aim for the one cooked in a huge pot - taste a little bit better then the one from machine warmed since it has some good cinnamon sticks and orange slice. All the houses are really nice decorated and Christmas mood is on.

  • The main attraction for the city. You will find a hunch of tourist walking around and plenty of gift shops if you wish to grab something. Not much for food options in the direst area but you can find some just outside of the surrounding areas.

  • Here you can admire the beautiful old town of Frankfurt. The buildings are a refreshing change to the very clear structures of the bank buildings. If you go straight on you get directly to the Main which offers a beautiful view over the skyline of Frankfurt.
