  • Beautiful old German square. Plenty of restaurants and shops to look through. If you're looking for a beer and a snack Alten Limpurg is a great place for a quick stop.

  • Awesome town square. Absolutely astounding when you first see it. Completely reconstructed after the war so looks a lot newer than expected. Some great restaurants here as well.

  • + One of the best town squares. Great architecture. There's always a lot of weddings during the day (the town hall is in the square) - It's always crowded.

  • Nice historical plaza with buildings that were rebuilt after the second world war exactly as they were before, so I was told. It's where the city hall is. There's also an engraved circle on the floor in the middle of the plaza beside the fountain symbolizing the burning of books by the Nazis. There's a great cofee shop called wacker's koffe.

  • I was there during advent and the Christmas market was just amazing. And not as crowded as I was thinking. Beautiful lights everywhere and things to see and look at everywhere. They even allow adults on their giant carousel(merry-go-round) so when you have some Glühwein in your veins, this brings you right back into your childhood.
