Wonderful view, totally worth the 7,5 euro. Line: about 15 minutes at around 5 PM, the best hour to see the view with the lights on (in december). A minus for the online tickets, they do nothing, you stay at the same line. No problem with the elevators, they come and go very fast. Even so, amazing views.
A definite 'must do' on your trip to Frankfurt. For under €10 you get to ride the lift to the observation tower and enjoy views all across the city. A perfect photo opportunity and lots of fun, even on a cloudy day.
The Main Tower was a great way to get a view of the majority of Frankfurt during my visit. It gets very busy mid-day as I waited in line for approximately 20 minutes to get up the elevator, the lineups had nearly tripled by the time I came down. Views are great when it’s clear, the top of the tower was definitely crowded so some patience can be required to get pictures if that’s the purpose for your visit, there is unobstructed views in three directions, but it’s not possible to get a direct photo without glass in the way in one direction.
Simply wow 😲 if you are visiting Francoforte you can’t not see this beautiful tower with its view on the city. The panorama is breathtaking. Since it is 200 meters high the wind is very strong. In about 40 seconds you will reach the top with the lift.
One can enjoy how spectacular Frankfurt city is. Most sky scrapers of the city can be observed from here. Prefer a sunny day to visit there but avoid too much sunny weather.
