The Palm Garden, Frankfurt Reviews - Write a Review
Beautiful place. Nice plants and flowers, lovely birds. We usually go there with our children. There is huge playground for all age groups. Ours are 2 years old and they love it. There are lot of options for toddlers, for example swing, climbing frame, slide or sand box. And there is a train also inside the Palmengarten that takes you from one end to the other. We also like the lake which is located in the opposite end than the playground. All in all very pleasant place, I can only recommend it.
Really nice place in summer. You can chill here and enjoy the nature also with family and kids. Inside are some coffee shops and small load for ice cream or just sweets. It exists playgrounds and nice seas. It is a optimal place in summer when the weather is good and when you are a tourist and like nature or just need some relax time in nature. There are a lot of trains and bus stations in the near and when you drive by car you can park in a car park. For a town like Frankfurt it is an optimal place near university, city and tourist hotspots.
Maybe nice, maybe not. From the outside it looks gorgeous but... the ticket is very expensive for a park. Any adult has to pay 7 euro so, this is 14 for one couple. Sorry Frankfurt. This is too much for the average Mediterranean people.
A good place to relax and have a good time... But keep in mind, it's also famous for parents and their children; so if you want to relax, timing is key. There you can have a look at various plants, even some animals ( "wild life" 😁 ).
It is astonishing how much work was done creating this place. It gathers plants from all over the world. Highly recommended.
