Franklin Drive Thru Safari Reviews & Ratings
This place was amazing. They have so many amazing animals. The property is well maintained, the staff is knowledgeable and courteous, and the animals are very well taken care of. Everyone had plenty of hay and water. They had a lot of animals you could be hands on with including beautiful healthy giraffes, kangaroos, cows, deer, and dogs. They had lots of babies too and lots of other animals you could visit with in spacious, safe, and sturdy enclosures. And everyone was friendly. No one nipped. The drive through part was great! They’re adding more drive through trails! The price was reasonable. It was $25 for two adults and my 4 month old son was free. And we spent $25 on food. They give you lots of feed as well. We bought 3 buckets for $5 a piece and it lasted us through the petting areas and the drive through part and the Safari is long. Definitely our new favorite spot. We are definitely returning.
This was a fantastic experience. We took the private tour with Chris and wasn't disappointed. Chris is passionate about the animals and extremely knowledgeable. Most of these animals are rescues with some bad history. Chris and his family are taking the necessary steps to stabilize the health of each animal and looking for ways to continue improving their physical and mental health. Baby room was amazing. We are already planning our return trip. The money we spent was completely justified after seeing the excellent condition of each animal.
Great drive. Good mix of different animals. The baby animal petting area was awesome! I'm in love with baby lemurs! Fun little guys... so soft and fluffy. I now want a giraffe and a lemur.
Staff here is great and very informative! Tons of animals and you can go at your own pace to enjoy them all. The baby room wss by far my favorite part. Tame baby animals will literally be all over you! Not overpriced for what they have to offer. For my family of 3 to do everything and have extra feed was $110. Not bad for a day of family entertainment that we all enjoyed.
It was definitely fun and suggest everyone to try at least once... the only thing didn't like about it was the situation of animals living in the cages! Specially in the hot weather and they don't seem really happy.... i wish there was no animals in the cage! Or at least i wish they had more trees in the cages...
