Garden Of The Groves, Freeport Reviews
Well kept and maintained. Beautiful! The restaurant has delicious food. My friend had the hamburger and she rates it in the top 3 in the best burgers she has ever had. I had the giant shrimp and they were wonderful. The park is a gorgeous backdrop for any photo shoot.
Loved this place, the scenery was beautiful lots of places to take great pictures. The place they have to eat is amazing and recommend the chicken sandwich and for desserts the key lime pie and lava cake both were delicious. Everybody there were super nice and attentive, the little ships they have are four houses with little shops but not to much worth buying.
Beautiful place which makes for great pictures. Very nice attentive people and the food was delicious. I had the chicken sandwich and the lava cake and it was all good. They had about four small houses to buy souvenirs but they didnt have much to buy.
Was there 16 years ago and even then this place was stunning, and even after all this year's this place is still a garden of Eden for me and my wife. The people who own this place are extermly helpful and really knowledgeable. If you have the time while your in the Bahamas this is a must see. The gardens are beautiful and breath taking, and if you are a painter or a photographer this is a place of a thousand ideas and dreams.
Great place for toddlers. People suggest spending an hour here but we happily wandered around for 2.5 hours! Very beautiful- people reviewing here accuse it of under-maintenance, but the mixture of wild and manmade influence is deft and well-balanced. Surprising how few people come here from the resorts. Well worth the visit: the 16.50 entrance fee goes towards maintaining the place, not into the pockets of some fat cat, so very reasonable.
