Garden Of The Groves, Freeport Reviews
Very beautiful place to visit.our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Temperature was just right. Tour only took about an hour. Walking was not bad with plenty of benches to rest if you need to. Would highly recommend this place.
A 20 minute drive from the cruise port, well shaded with easy to navigate walking paths. There is a small row of shops selling local items as well as a small restaurant. The guide was knowledgeable. 1 stars due to the caged green parrot by the restaurant that has picked most of the feathers off his body, obviously the poor bird is not treated well.
My husband and I got married at The Garden of the Groves 15 years ago. Very nice location for an intimate wedding. We had a small party of 20 and we used the Gazebo and the reception was outside. Our picture were absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly and accommidating. They also catered the food and after 15 years it's a blurr but I cannot remember having any complaints about it. We got married in the summer and my biggest mistake was that I had too much clothes on. I should have chosen a lighter dress as opposed to a traditional wedding gown. However, my pictures were lovely and thank God I didn't pass out in the heat. Nice wedding spot.
Nice botanical garden. Kind of wild; not overly cultivated like many botanical gardens I've been to.
A nice place to spend the day, it's a beautiful garden with birds 🐦 🐦 lakes, Ponds and other animals, a nice cafe' called, Garden cafe'bar and grill, and the food is good, cold Bahamian beers 🍺 🍺 also beers from around the world. You also can get souvenirs. When in Freeport Grand Bahama you have to visit there.
