Known by many names before Schloss Fantaisie, this castle has been remodelled that many times, if not more! Dating back to medieval era, not much of that style can now be seen. With the Lords of Lüchau in the 16th century, to Frederick, Margrave of Brandenburg-Bayreuth and then his daughter in the 18th, the castle has changed faces many times. And although the charm of original castle may be lost in this striking grandeur, a replica of the original wooden room displaying intarsia work can be seen here. The proud presenter of the first garden museum in the country, the castle exhibits the history of garden design, which has proved to be very interesting and informative.
