Cicerello's, Fremantle Reviews

  • Amazing salt and pepper squid and local crunchy prawns! Best fries in Perth as well. Gets very crowded over the weekend, so I prefer to visit Cicerello's during the week. Contrary to what other reviewers say, I don't think this place is over-priced, the service is good here: once our calamari were a bit stale, the staff happily replaced our meal with no problem.

  • May be was an "off" day, but fish was disappointing with less than crispy batter. Have visited several times and always been impressed, this time not so.. (having mushy peas available would be good!)

  • Cicerello's used to be great but now they just cater for the tourists with high prices & food that could be better. Definitely not the value it used to be. Rather sad really. Better food & value can be had away from Fremantle. The wait time was also very long on a day when there was not a large crowd. Not impressed.

  • Great location. It's almost always busy but the food turns up within a reasonable time. The fish that is used in the 'fish & chips' is frozen on the boat immediately after being caught - it's not frozen fish from the store. It tastes nice. The food is a little bit expensive but you're paying a premium for the location. Even so I think it's the most reasonably priced of the big fish restaurants by the marina. The kids portions are good, however if you have very young kids then it might be best to split an adult portion between two of them. My recommendation is the curry fish fillet. I would definitely have this again!

  • Lovely area beside the ocean. Restaurant a bit noisy music to loud. Was slightly disappointed with my snapper. Alcoholic drinks very expensive
