The beautiful cathedral is the mother church of Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno and situated near the centre of the city. What initially started as a brick structure built to serve only five catholic families in the area expanded into a stunning Romanesque style church and frequented by many visitors today. The beauty and elegance the place has along with its intriguing history makes it a great destination for historians and travellers to visit. One must definitely take some time out of their schedule to walk around the premises and feel the serenity and calm the place embodies.

I love St Johns it is very traditional. If you can appreciate that and enjoy great paintings more than 100 years old this is the place for you. I've always have felt welcomed here such diverse community I fit right in .
Beautiful and peaceful Cathedral to seek the lord's attention, guidance& to thank him for his blessings
St. John's church is a beautiful Catholic church. The paintings on the ceiling are beautiful. My family and I have been going to church at St. John's since I was a baby. I was baptized in 1982 here. I have gotten married here and when my husband and I started a family we have continued to keep St. John's as our family church. In matter where we go or where we live ; we will always attend St. John's.
I went there last week for a funeral. Cathedral is beautiful, and I really like how the Father gave the mass. Some fathers seems like robots when giving the masses, but let's not get into religion or politics.
You have to add more Handicap Parking and more seats for Disabled Parishioners! I've left you Suggestion to this matter before and nothing is being done. It's either arrive at 7 AM for the 7:30 Mass or sit outside! Totally not what I had in mind yesterday!☹😡 If there were Negative Stars, I would definitely give You several!👎
