Frettenham is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. Known in the Domesday Book as 'Fretham', Frettenham is located six miles north-east of Norwich, surrounded by countryside. The village is well known for its rich farmland. It covers an area of 6.33 km2 (2.44 sq mi) and had a population of 727 in 288 households at the 2001 census, increasing slightly to a population of 740 in 307 households at the 2011 Census.For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Broadland.
