Kirin Distillery Fuji Gotemba, Fuji Reviews
Very well made movie explaining the making of whiskey. For those who appreciate drinking, there's a tasting. I bought the most beautiful glass with My Fuji on the bottom.
Nice distillery for a visit. Can be reached from Gotemba Train Station or Kawaguchiko Trsin Station. Better to reserve ahead.
This is a good distillery to visit. It is not too busy and the guided tours are free. They also offer guests to taste 2 types of whiskies for free if you go through the tour. Although the tours are Japanese only, they let you see the whole production process including bottling and packaging. You can also buy some rare whiskies here for a decent price.
Great distillery with free tour and at the end of the tour you can taste 2 types of whiskey, one of which is a limited edition and can only be bought at the distillery. The tours are conducted in Japanese but on a non busy day, there are a few English speaking staff and they can also conduct tours in English.
Nice place to visit , service is friendly as well.
