In the city of Fukuoka's impressive repository of parks and public spaces, this one does not add much. It is little more than a resting place for people shopping in the Tenjin area. Mostly it's used by workers in nearby offices who want to come out to a quiet place to have lunch and watch the passing traffic. Things become livelier in the evening when the local skateboarders come out to play. However, the park is very popular during Christmas when the entire area is brightly illuminated and the atmosphere is quite festive.
