Running under Watanabe street, this is the most popular shopping mall in the city. The 150 shops and a handful of restaurants are arranged around a cobblestoned street with soft, cool lighting. It's also famous for being well connected - twenty nearby buildings can be accessed from here, as well as two major subway stations (Tenjin and Tenjinminami). Most of the shops are fashion stores, with the best of collections from Tokyo, New York and Paris. There are a number of specialty stores - Hello Kitty, the cocktail dress seller Daryl Diamond, the home accessory seller Salut that's a good place to pick up souvenirs; Karancolan Kyoto has a cutesy collection of Japanese knick-knacks; Kutsushitaya, for every kinds of pair of socks imaginable; the Kaldi Coffee Farm has some great imported brands; Godiva Chocolatier is a luxury Belgian chocolatier. The themed restrooms are also popular!

Tenjin Underground Shopping Center Reviews & Ratings
Every outlet have it unique product and identity. You won't find a repeat commodities. Clear map and guide line for first time visitor. A European style design outlet especially when you visit the washroom. You will surprised with their stylish European style design.
Great shopping area while you can go to different shopping mall through the underground. The shop within the shopping hallway is not as attractive as shopping mall on the way. Worth while to experience the shopping style of Japanese.
Everything you can imagine is here. Probably over 100 total boutique shops and restaurants. It’s so massive that you’d easily get lost especially without GPS. The underground idea and architecture is amazing to see. It’s connected to the Tenjin subway station as well.
This is the indoor more than 600 m long shopping street connected between Tenjin and Tenjin minami subway stops with more than 100 shops , I guess. Both sides of this street are covered by department stores. If you donot have something to do, this would be a perfect place to spend your time. For people who transfer the subway here, you have 120 min to walk from one side to another side to catch the next train. It means you have a plenty of time to buy or catch something. Please beware massive waves of people in afternoon and evening. You may lost your way in this place. 😆😆😆😆😆
When I came here, I thought Fukuoka is definitely a place for shopping in Japan. There is just about anything you want here.
