Yanagibashi Market Reviews & Ratings
We went at around 9am and it wasn't a bustling tourist spot, more like your friendly neighborhood wet market. We were randomly walking around and found this meat shop. Owner was really friendly, we bought the meat, he seasoned and grilled it for us and it was really good! The sushi place was recommended online and it was good but not the best i've had and certainly a bit overpriced.
Very small fresh food market - seafood and meat mainly and some other japanese produce. Spent around 15mins there, the market is probably like 80m long. Doesn't seem like your average tourist market, there are some stores selling fresh food like sushi to eat, but lot of the things you would buy here are for taking home and cooking with.
Seafood market, all foods are so fresh and alive too the best shop should be the whale meat specialist store here
Interesting market for local selling a lot of seafood. Have very nice 'mochi' (dessert made of glutinous rice & azuki beans) too.
you can experience and feel old Japanese style of market.
