Saint Mary's Church was created by Bishop Conaty on June 29, 1912 and services were held in the Odd Fellows Hall which at the time was located at the Northwest corner of Commonwealth and Harbor. Since then, the Church has been moved, got burnt down, had been rebuilt, enlarged, got burnt down in a fire again, a new church was constructed which was rebuilt several times. The Church believes that there’s only one true God, Jesus Christ and encourages people to love Him, seek His blessings and confess our sins to Him to ask His forgiveness.
