This is an open-air museum near Gabrovo in Bulgaria. You will find the raw essence of Bulgarian customs, culture, and craftsmanship here. Sprawling over an area of 7 hectares, the exquisite museum consists of 50 objects, water installations and some houses with craftsmen’s workshops. It showcases the architectural wonders, social life and economics of Gabrovo and its surrounding regions during the National Revival of Bulgaria. The local wood-carvings, pottery, coppersmith crafts, cutlery making, needlework, and furriery are wonderfully displayed here. There is also a restaurant and a souvenir shop around the museum.
