  • Just up 35 so we love to frequent here! Easy pricing for our big family and it’s perfect for an afternoon stroll... the park outside of the zoo is awesome for before or after you walk the zoo...the kids can continue to have some fun while parents sit and chat or eat some lunch. Friendly staff, you can feed and pet on goats and the kids love seeing their bears up close instead of in a pit like we do at the Dallas zoo. :)

  • Always great! They do a wonderful job of keeping the zoo clean for both people and animals. It's never overly crowded. There's a good mix of different animals. It takes us about 2 hours to walk around the whole zoo, which in my mind is perfect. We would choose this zoo over any other in the area, hands down.

  • Nice quiet zoo. It's small walk through zoo with a gift shop. Price is very good and has a small petting zoo with goats and pigs. Took bout hour to explore all of it. Afterwards we took the kid to the park for free.

  • We took our two year old grandson to see the animals and play at the playground. What a lovely day! We used sunscreen, took cold water to drink, and had some snacks to share halfway through the zoo, in the comfortable, breezy covered picnic area. Some young people were there by the giraffe and ostrich pen, showing us replicas of the animals' bones and a gigantic ostrich egg. We watched as they fed the giraffes, but had fed the goats ourselves earlier. We took our time in the air-conditioned gift shop, which was interesting in its own right, since it had a few more animals. Afterwards, we enjoyed watching our little guy run and climb and slide. When it was time to leave, he suggested that we could just leave him there! Had a perfect lunch at Sarah's. We will be back!

  • Very nice zoo, the grounds are beautiful. Huge trees and great landscape. Easy to follow layout. Good variety of animals. It can easily be done in under 2 hours. Nice park next door with a train for the little kids to ride.
