1 roller coaster, 15 rides, carnival games and souvenir shops. Very standard, but very well done. The pier has been built to replace an older Pleasure Pier that was destroyed by hurricanes. Though this won’t be the best amusement park you’ve ever seen, it’s definitely got a cozy sort of charm that’s perfect for Galveston. Four hours here will pass quickly!

Huge rip off. Lame rides except one OK roller coaster. To ride it, you have to pay 10 bucks just to walk on the pier, and then another 6 bucks for the ride. Or the all day ride pass for 26. Neither is worth it. Such a rip off place, just trying to take your money for nothing. Stay away if you have teenagers. Perhaps its better if you have toddlers.
Located conveniently on the seawall with several rides for kids and adults as well as a few carnival style games, food and drinks + a gift shop. Very clean, staff was excellent this summer. Can purchase tickets for each ride or an armband to ride all you want- have to pay for walk-on pass as well. A bit pricey and not a ton of attractions but a clean and well kept place, we had fun!
I stopped by here off season out of curiosity because it reminded me of Ocean City MD, a wonderful beach town with boardwalk where I spent my summers years ago. The pier was closed when I arrived but I saw all that I needed to see. This is a touristy pier filled with carnival type rides and games for children. Though it's not really a place I would want to go these days, it is perfect for summer vacationing families with children. This is a place for children to build great memories. The flashing lights, the smells of boardwalk food and the sounds of people laughing, they'll treasure those memories for a lifetime.
It's weird to me that they call it "historic pleasure pier" when no where in this place could I find the history of it. It would be such a treat to have a little section of the history. Also there is no arcade on the pier...weak
It was amazing! Me and my family had a blast the rides are fun. It is a great place to vist and have fun. The food over there is delicious and overall it was a great experience.
