Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark Reviews & Ratings
An amazing day for the whole family of all ages. We’d not been here before and thought we would give it a try. It turned out to be the highlight of our family trip. The entry price was reasonable compared to the large amount of rides. The ride wait times were short - often by the time you climb the stairs to the ride there was zero wait. Highly recommend!
Awesome Water Park, I would have given it a 5 Star but some of the Park and Rides were not open, To be fair this was known ahead of time and the park gave a discount on the tickets. The Lazy / Raging River was awesome and Long and had awesome big waves, best I have been at so far. The Biggest Water Coaster was cool as well and one of the slides was tall and dark however certain parts were lit up with neon colors making for an interesting descent. I would highly recommend this water park.
Love it here, especially new rides. Lifeguards are really professional and human at the same time. Very fair policies on parking and coolers, but wish they would publish which attractions are out of service each day online so you can check before driving the hour and a half to find out your favourite one is out for "maintenance" that day, even if you couldn't spot a single person with a spanner in hand! Suspect it could be a euphemism
We had a blast with our family for the day!! They allow you to roll your cooler in with food and beverages, which is awesome! They also offer some areas with free parking. Because summer is over a couple rides were closed and kind of a bummer, but overall it was still fun.
Was really fun, but super expensive. The family bathroom does not have a trash can for feminine products, but there is one right outside the door. The staff was really friendly especially to our little one. Parking was not bad either. The lazy river was really fun and the rapids were pretty cool. I think some tubes should have been removed as they were really flat. I love the two person tube that has a closed seat for little ones and the open seat for parents. They do offer life jackets for kids at no charge but we used one of our own this time. Overall was a great experience.
