The Burren, Galway Reviews
The Burden national Park is worth driving through, and stopping for a nice walk. It's amazing to see green fields one second and then to feel as if you have landed on another planet the next. Very cool, but honestly a little boring after a while because the scenery doesn't change... Perhaps if I had linked up to one of the trails it would have been different, but along the main road, you can not get past the roadside barrier anywhere to actually walk among the rocks.
€12 per person. To see the burren was very interesting 💯 wasn’t what I expected at all. Some parts were really cold, then hot. Aoife our host was incredible and made the trek very interesting! Gorgeous surroundings all around 💯 definitely worth a visit
Well.... we did not expect it to look that way. I’m guessing the trekking is really nice, but we arrives there by car and looked for a parking. There was none, so we stopped on the side of the road and walked for a while. It is nice, we went there on our way back from the Cliffs of Moher on our way to Galway. I don’t think I would go there again, maybe during a different season? But it’s not worth the detour if you’re not planning on doing the trek.
There's no other place like this in the world. It's like being on the moon. It's definitely worth a visit. It's also not far from the cliffs of Moher. It's an easy drive and good day trip.
The most unique place on Ireland. There is no other terrain or landscape like it. So glad we took 3-4 hrs out of our day for this detour. What a stark, gorgeous and unique place...
