Well, even if doesn’t its setting is stunning and it is a place well worth visiting in this region. The area around it has been turned into a Natural Reserve due to the stunning variety of animals, birds and plants found here. In summer, flowers and tall grass surround the area leading up to it making it quite picturesque.

Khecheopalri Lake, Gangtok Reviews
Truly holy place with exceptional view and gorgeous fishes in the lake.... Don't forget to take food for feeding the fishes at the ticket counter!!
Holy lake of Buddhist philosophy in Sikkim. People believe that the water of the lake cure diseases and possess medicinal value. There are lot of fish inside the lake. But fishing is strictly prohibited. A very good eco system.
nice place to visit for all, specially hilltop for whole lake view
Serene. Try taking the hike to the view point to get a full view but the way to view point is too rough .so be careful.the view is just stunning.
Khechuperi Lake, One of the holiest lakes in Sikkim. Considered a sacred site, it is revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. It is also considered a ‘wishing lake’ and it is believed that no leaf remains on its surface at any point in time. Apart from myth it's have breathtaking natural beauty but to enjoy it you have to trek(little bit rough & high slop somewhere) till the lake view point. From there you can see the actual shape of this lake. At the top one shop is there and shop owner have home which can be your wallpaper. If possible test noodles and tea, which will be cherries on top. Estimate "100 minutes" time from ticket counter to ticket counter to obtain 100% value for money while you are on budget and compact trip schedule.
