The ridge Park or simply the Ridge is an interesting tourist destination within Gangtok. Not far from the local market, it is a refreshing stop for the weary tourist or the tired shopper. It might be just a small stretch of green meadow in the city but its location makes it quite popular with the tourists as well as locals.

The Ridge often has amazing flower shows where you will get to see exotic  flowers from all over the world that are one of the primary attractions of the place. Do certainly enquire if there is a flower show ongoing during your visit.

Besides this, it is a great place to watch the sunset on a quieter evening. There are a couple of statues and other sculptures worth seeing in and around it. Do keep it in mind while planning your trip to Gangtok
