The museum’s permanent exhibition is called Symmes Inn: Windows onto the Ottawa River which, using historical figures, portrays the significance of the river, waterway, industrial activity, and steamboats in the area. Propagating the local history, the museum is nestled on the shores of Ottawa river and makes for an interesting visit.
