Newfound Gap, Gatlinburg Reviews
Amazing!!! This is the road that travels though the smokey mountains. The scenery is breath taking. Its 20 degrees cooler! You're so close to the clouds and then you can go to clingmans dome. All of which is free to do besides gas money of course.
We went at sunset, it was absolutely gorgeous! The view was breathtaking to say the least!!! Great pictures so bring your cameras!
very popular stop a long the to clingman's dome. this overlook has a great view plus a huge parking lot. plus don't forget to take a picture on the state line of North Carolina and Tennessee. if i remember correctly there might be bathrooms here but i maybe wrong. there is a huge monument with stairs that can make for a nice picture and you can also pick up a trail.
One of the most beautiful and iconic lookouts in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! Seriously, visit this place! It’ll inspire awe and demand respect. Parking will be tough during peak season, so be prepared for that if you’ll be there then. Besides that, you’re going to love this lookout!
Can get crowded, but the views are incredible. To escape the crowds head out on the AT and enjoy the best of the Smokies.
