Meet Andrea, Rolf, Andrea and Alex. This is a family who owns the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum. The pepper mill at home was not working. Andrea and her family started researching into the history of salt & pepper shakers. Off they went to find the right combination. After some time, it became an entertainment, almost an obsession.

The museum highlights the changes in society. From ancient times to present, you can see all the changes here. Andrea also wants to show the diversity and ingenuity in her collection. In her 20,000 salt & pepper shakers find the amazing people who came up with the design. The different shapes speak volumes of the creative artist. Her family wanted to bring people together. Everyone has a memory about a salt & pepper shaker, either from their childhood or later in life.

The salt & pepper shakers have been displayed by themes and colours. Andrea created a story within the displays for you to read. Each theme is separated by pepper mills.
