Smoky Mountain Brewery - Review
Are you a hop head? Or a malt head? Do you go weak in the knees at the sight and fragrance of hops in a beer? Simply put the beer served at the Smoky Mountain Brewery has a distinct style. Beer style is a label given to a beer that defines its complete appeal. It's a name badge that has been given to beers over many centuries. The process of brewing, goes through trial and error, marketing, and consumer acceptance. Beer styles reflect spin on the constantly evolving world of beer. Enter the Smoky Mountain Brewery to learn how hops are turned into the most popular premium beer.
Hops are the most recent addition to the basic recipe for beer. There is no doubt that this bitter, musky herb has become the star. And today the herb that can deliver such levels of bitterness is given valued status. The Smoky Mountain Brewery has twin working grain silos. Inside you'll find one of the largest working micro-breweries in East Tennessee. A microbrewery or craft brewery is a brewery that produces a small amount of beer. It is applied to breweries that are much smaller than large-scale corporate breweries and are independently owned. Such breweries put their emphasis on quality, flavour and brewing technique. At their microbrewery all of the beers are brewed entirely without the use of chemical preservers, flavours, or pasteurization. They focus on the product and not the packing and marketing, so no corner is cut.
Smoky Mountain Brewery is part of the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants. The first site was opened in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Each beer is brewed in one of the four breweries in East Tennessee. Each microbrew is handcrafted in small batches to provide you with the freshest, and all-natural beers possible. You can pick up any of their beers from any Smoky Mountain Brewery. Take the family out for fresh micro-brewed beer and traditional pizza. Or try the sandwiches in this fun place with friends. Come at night and enjoy the live entertainment on their outdoor patio. It is a natural gathering place for any televised sporting events.

Smoky Mountain Brewery, Gatlinburg Reviews
We went to Smoky Mountain Brewery and sampled some beer and ate Pizza. The pizza was ok, but then this is a tourist spot. The samples of beer tasted really good. We loved the old fashioned atmosphere. You definitely can relax and drink some beer. It can be quite expensive. I will definitely come back and try the hot wings.
Well how fantastic is this place? Amazing beer, great pizza, and phenomenal service. Our server Jasmine was so friendly and helpful. Had the Appalachian pale ale, very tasty. The bakers special pizza was terrific. Free parking if you eat here so dont miss the turn off for the little area tucked off the main drag.
It’s alright. We came during a slower time and were a little surprised at the difference between this location and the other. We ordered a double order of thunder road wings, beer cheese broccoli, and Mac n cheese. Both our sides were good but only half our wings had any sauce on them and even those were pitifully covered. I like the Pigeon Forge location much better and we’re much rather drive to that location than go here. EDIT: Just rocked another star because our waitress charged us an “extra sauce fee” because she had to bring us sauce to cover the wings THEY didn’t cover themselves. How ridiculous. I’m not coming here again.
I'm currently sitting here writing this review. My group arrived roughly 7:05pm. Order our drinks and food about 7:10pm. Didn't get our food until 7:50pm. My "Thunder Shrimp" and fries are COLD! The fries were well seasoned cold fries. The sauce on my shrimp was "alright". My expectations were unmet. I've heard great things about this restaurant, but today was big disappointment. I guess I'll warm the shrimp up in my hotel room. The waiter still hasn't asked how our food taste. Not a great day in the neighborhood.
Love this family sports pub and brewery! Great location, service, food and brews! A place where football fans can celebrate their home team....no matter where they are from!
