Are you a hop head? Or a malt head? Do you go weak in the knees at the sight and fragrance of hops in a beer? Simply put the beer served at the Smoky Mountain Brewery has a distinct style. Beer style is a label given to a beer that defines its complete appeal. It's a name badge that has been given to beers over many centuries. The process of brewing, goes through trial and error, marketing, and consumer acceptance. Beer styles reflect spin on the constantly evolving world of beer. Enter the Smoky Mountain Brewery to learn how hops are turned into the most popular premium beer.
Hops are the most recent addition to the basic recipe for beer. There is no doubt that this bitter, musky herb has become the star. And today the herb that can deliver such levels of bitterness is given valued status. The Smoky Mountain Brewery has twin working grain silos. Inside you'll find one of the largest working micro-breweries in East Tennessee. A microbrewery or craft brewery is a brewery that produces a small amount of beer. It is applied to breweries that are much smaller than large-scale corporate breweries and are independently owned. Such breweries put their emphasis on quality, flavour and brewing technique. At their microbrewery all of the beers are brewed entirely without the use of chemical preservers, flavours, or pasteurization. They focus on the product and not the packing and marketing, so no corner is cut.
Smoky Mountain Brewery is part of the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants. The first site was opened in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Each beer is brewed in one of the four breweries in East Tennessee. Each microbrew is handcrafted in small batches to provide you with the freshest, and all-natural beers possible. You can pick up any of their beers from any Smoky Mountain Brewery. Take the family out for fresh micro-brewed beer and traditional pizza. Or try the sandwiches in this fun place with friends. Come at night and enjoy the live entertainment on their outdoor patio. It is a natural gathering place for any televised sporting events.

Had lunch here, thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Very pleasant home brew beer selection, paired with excellent hamburger and fries. Wife and kids shared a pizza which was delightful as well. Nothing but positive experience! Great service, great food!
This place was wonderful! Our server took care of our 7 person table with no problem and helped us with each of our requests in a timely manner. Every item of food was absolutely delicious, same thing with the beer. Definitely coming back here next time we're in town.
Longtime employee, Matt, took care of my family last night and he did a phenomenal job. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and beers, and he took the extra time to talk with us about things outside of the restaurant even as he was sweating his butt off through the “Hell Week” that follows Christmas in tourist heavy places. He recommended the brewsteak, which was very flavorful. If you stop in, ask for Matt, and you will not be disappointed, I promise!
We eat here every time we come to Gatlinburg! The Kick Back burger is my favorite and the staff are amazing. Lost 1 star because there aren't any blinds on the windows, so I was blinded while I ate the best burger I've ever had. Love love love!!!
The server was very sweet and extremely kind but that’s about all good I can say. My salad was forgotten but he made up for it. The pizza was blah. Tasted like freezer burnt crust and the chicken tasted like sausage. If you order any other drink then their own it’s room temperature so gotta ask for ice. Pretty disappointed.
