Geiranger Fjord - Review

The Fjord is the deep blue strip of water strategically flowing between two mountains. Snow-covered mountain peaks, wild waterfalls and lush and green vegetation beautifully encompass this water body. You will now find many abandoned farms on either sides of the Fjord. Take the ferry trip between Geiranger and Hellesylt to witness the beauty of the Fjord. A sightseeing trip is also an option. The Fjord is one of the most visit attractions in Norway.

Geiranger Fjord, Geiranger Reviews

  • Explicitely beautiful fjord, tons of waterfalls, and the most dangerous mountain in the world: it is clinging to one side, the crack is very visible, some 3 meters wide, and it will presumably fall into the water of the fjord, causing a huge tsunami wave. The locals are listening to it with scientific instruments and claim they will know that 72 hours in advance, which should give the villagers and tourists enough time to evacuate the area. So hurry up to see the jewel amongst fjords!

  • One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. One Word. Fantastic ❣️

  • I really love the place very much a truly wonderful world heritage place very quiet and peaceful not much crowded so you can spend some time for meditation for your mind. Also very nice view from the top of the mountain you can take nice picture for lifetime which will be the greate memories in your life. I enjoyed a lot so you can come and enjoy the marvellous place in Norway. A truly world one of the best Hill station. Like the review if you find it helpful

  • This is a really beautiful small area along the Norwegian Fjords. Our cruise ship stopped there for the day and we did some site seeing up the hills. Also some small shops at the port for shopping. This area is popular for people with caravans as there were about 50 of them in an area when we were there. Don't miss this gorgeous stop in Norway. There are the seven sisters waterfalls along the fjord very close to the town. We loved the area

  • Truly remarkable! Full of tourists in the summer and the travel time is exhausting yet all worth it. Majestic fjords! The tourist agencies are wonderfully helpful too!
