Maxim Dim Sum Restaurant, Gelugor Reviews
Lots of variety of Tim Sum with many type of Chinese tea. During Saturday, Sunday or public holiday. Almost impossible to find seat as the restaurant will be fully book. I prefer to eat my breakfast here during weekdays. Best to bring along your friends or family member, so that you can try out all the food available here.
affordable price yet so fresh and yammy. must try the porrige, as good as the one you can have in hong kong. cost around RM40 for me and my wife to eat until full.
Good place for dim sum breakfast or even lunch. Parking can be a problem due to limited road side parkings. Their egg tart is the best so far for me, with fluffy crust and super soft filling. Fried items such as fried radish cake and fried prawn roll are our must haves on every visit. Remember to order a pot of tea to go with your dim sum. We particularly like xiao ye gan!
The food was awful and the service was terrible. I vomited my food as soon as I left the place. The people did not listen to anything we said or asked. The food was not fresh and the meat was not cooked properly. The chicken was partially raw. I asked for a little ice in my milo instead of the usual full cup of ice. the waitress brings a half full cup of ice with Milo filled in but still the cup was half full with ice and very little Milo. I paid for a full drink which is not cheap there. I will be telling people to avoid there as much as possible.
Offers quite a great variety of dim sums but food quality is just mediocre. Very crowded on weekends and it could be hard to get a parking.
