Temple de la Fusterie is the first church of Geneva built in the year 1715. This church was specially made for the Calvinist worshippers. The place is well known for having brilliant acoustics. As a result the church concerts hosted here are very popular.

The Church follows the baroque style and is one of the prettiest and most impressive sights to see in Geneva. The church was designed Jean Vennes, the Huguenot refugee.

The light and the whitewashed galleries are the important part of this church. The small church has just enough room for about 750 worshippers who come to listen to the words of the minister. Numerous musical events are performed here at this church.

Being close to the touristic and commercial area of the city it is frequently visited. Do check out the market area not far from the church. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Geneva itinerary 2 days.
