  • Great atmosphere and a well kept garden. We had issues at the entrance though. As holiday goers we entered the gardens with no issues one day. The next day, the guard asks us all for R10 cash entry fee. But the gardens are great for an afternoon walk.

  • This is an absolute paradise! If you're in town, make a plan to visit the Garden. It is an.absolute treasure and the staff is so passionate about what they do. And please donate money or even your recyclables! This non-profit organisation deserves every cent!

  • We found clean bathroom facilities inside but at the time we visited (December) we could barely have called it a botanical garden at all. There was very little flowers and gardens around and the ones that were there were still just being planted or very little. The mushroom patch we only saw one mushroom. We did not see value for the money and the hassle of going out of our way to visit it. Maybe at another time it will be better but at this time we did not really find it worth the visit.

  • Stunning gardens - abundant plant species with the beautiful misty Outeniqua mountains as a back drop. Well maintained and clean. Lots of paths to discover all in natural, wild environment... Definitely worth a visit, particularly a picnic and a long walk.

  • Hi , I walk my 2 Labradors regularly in the park. Generally the park is very neat n well cared for. Unfortunately permission was given for the storage of excavated gravel from the Caledon Street reconstruction. The heavy trucks have damaged the upper field. Promises of repair at some stage have been made - we'll see. Otherwise very worthwhile visiting also nursery and restaurant available.
