Pedro St. James National Historic Site - Review
Pedro’s Castle stands for not only what an 18th century castle looked like, but the 1780s was also a time when the population of the Cayman Islands was a grand total of 400. Dubbed as the oldest stone structure of the Cayman Islands, the Castle was rebuilt after a massive fire destroyed it. There’s no refuting why the Castle is a historic site- the first elected parliament democracy presided over proceedings here and the Slavery Abolition Act was signed in this former court and jailhouse.
Don’t miss out on the multimedia presentations that happen on the hour that tells a riveting tale of the Pedro Castle.

Pedro St. James National Historic Site, George Town Reviews
The tour was great. Alot of rich history and stories told by a true family member. The Outpost tasting, with Moses, was worth every penny. Told us stories and made us feel at home. I would recommend everyone to come and try both.
Great views of the iron shore, and gorgeous venue - would be perfect for a lovely wedding venue. We just briefly stopped by to see the view rather than the actual historical site (due to limited time frame) but the staff were wonderful and understanding. Will definitely return to see the feature in the future
Great little historic site. Guided tour with a short video. Beautiful house full of history. Well worth the visit.
Great historical place. And the rum is distilled on site. Best rum on the Island.
I was so surprised and impressed with the audio/visual presentation before the tour. This is a very unique historical gem. I'm glad my family and I made the trip.. learned a lot about the history of the island and the people living here. The staff members are extremely welcoming and accommodating.
