  • This is a lovely heritage site renovated into a hotel. It is situated in George Town, and within walking distance to many local foodies and attractions. The former home of the famous Mr Cheung, once known as the richest person in the East. Many of the originals has been kept. It would be most pleasant to stay if you would wish to try living in a house of ancient rich people (equipped with modern facilities, of course). The Indigo Restaurant is also very worth visiting. Even if you don't stay there, it is worthwhile to join the paid daily tour to understand the architecture and the former people living there. The staff are also most friendly. To conclude, a lovely place with great service.

  • Lovely blue mansion. Well-restored heritage. Join the guided tour if possible. Our guide Christine is full of knowledge and very entertaining. There are 3 slots per day but do check before visiting - some slots may be closed for private event.

  • Must see! Must dine! Love the serene charm here. The ambience is so beautiful and calm. The food is superb and the service is friendly and professional. The scallop is highly recommended as is the pasta.

  • I stayed here as a guest. The room was comfortable, and the mansion is beautifully decorated. It is a very peaceful place to stay yet, it is very quiet. The breakfast served in the morning is quite delicious. At various times of the day someone comes to the room with a traditional snack. You get a nice welcome drink as well. I wish I could’ve stayed here another day. I just really enjoyed the beautiful architecture of the mansion. If you are a guest you can take the tour for free. Worth every penny.

  • Clement was a great guide. His explanation was fun and engaging. The only problem is the crowd was too large when it went up second floor where the the space was too crowded. I would suggest the organizer to consider a smaller group in session.
