Founded in 2001, the Iphithi Nature Reserve is located near the Molweni River. This beautiful forest is of indigenous nature and home to a great number of species of birds and mammals. As you wander in the forest, you will find a small dam that has a wide variety of fish. You will see more than 47 species of birds and the animals such as bushbuck, blue duiker, porcupine, dassies and mongooses here. Not only the fauna, but also the flora of this forest shows a great variety. The dam is area in this forest is one of the best spots for picnic. You can go for a walk on the beautiful pathway or just on one of the benches and enjoy the views.
