Gjirokaster Castle, Gjirokaster Reviews
Very nice castle/preserved ruin. Worth visiting and fun to wander around. There are awesome cannons, artillery and a tank inside. Adding to that, don't forget to visit the weapons museum inside. It's definitely worth the 200 LEK. After visiting, consider seeing the cold war tunnel (bunker).
Top view over the city. The museum, inside the castle, is a must. I believe they're working on the castle as most rooms are closed to the public. All I could see were thick walls, what looked like secret passages now closed, long dark corridors and some rooms in need of repair, but yes, it is worth visiting!
WW II exposition inside the castle make monumental view for tanks, weapons which you can handle in your hands. I am not big fan of WW II, so I didn't enjoy it so much. There is nice view for the Gjirokastra city.
Great place to visit. Nice view and very old monuments. Few nice place to eat great dinner. I definitely recommend it
Was okay but I like butrint castle and the ali pasha better. There was one really cool tank that only had 3 in the world and one is located here. And a lot of cannons which was cool.
