Holmwood House is a popular, influential and also the most acclaimed private villa made by Alexander "Greek" Thomson. It is a huge point of interest in Glasgow.

lovely warm welcome to see Santa. very well thought out and helpers fantastic. enjoyed by all ages.
Great visit to holmwood house - fascinating buildong with a great history. Card machine was temperamental so advise taking cash for entry or coffee shop! Volunteers were informative and friendly.
A splendidly restored Victorian villa (still a work in progress)run by very helpful ,knowledgeable and pleasant volunteer staff. Tearoom/ café a wee bit limited,but ,again ,staffed by very nice helpers!!WELL worth a visit!!
Interesting Greek style villa with some fascinating on going restoration with the interiors. Good for National Trust membership
