Nestled amidst the busy suburbs is Arboretum Glenrock which is a serene oasis spread across an area of eleven acres. The wetland forest consists of gardens, nature trails, a sparkling brook and a spring fed pond. The Arboretum supports varied species of plants and trees the majority of which are the area’s natives. There are placards that help in identifying the plants and even mentions as to where they have been derived from. Owing to its extensive variety of plants, Arboretum Glenrock is also a natural habitat for butterflies, birds, water fowls, amphibians along with other native animals. There’s a huge gazebo that sits atop a walkway and is used for celebrations and special occasions.
