Nestled amidst the busy suburbs is Arboretum Glenrock which is a serene oasis spread across an area of eleven acres. The wetland forest consists of gardens, nature trails, a sparkling brook and a spring fed pond. The Arboretum supports varied species of plants and trees the majority of which are the area’s natives. There are placards that help in identifying the plants and even mentions as to where they have been derived from. Owing to its extensive variety of plants, Arboretum Glenrock is also a natural habitat for butterflies, birds, water fowls, amphibians along with other native animals. There’s a huge gazebo that sits atop a walkway and is used for celebrations and special occasions.

Arboretum Glenrock Reviews & Ratings

  • This is a great park! They have things for smaller kids to climb on and they also have a separate thing for bigger kids. This kept my grandson busy for a couple of hours until he was ready to go to sleep! it's also very well taken care of.

  • Beautiful walk through wooded area. You can easily spend an hour walking around!

  • I love the arboretum. It is such a beautiful and serene place to visit. My young children love the playground here which is fenced in and it offers shade in the summer heat. And my kids love to do the story walk and see the pond and the fountain. It's a whole day event if we bring a picnic lunch. It can get really busy during the summer because it shares a parking lot with the Glen Rock public pool.

  • You can take a nice short walk on the path that skirts the pond in the back, very nice to be a bit closer to nature.

  • I love this place. I take my son to see all the plants and life in the huge pond.
