Schloss Ort is an exceptionally beautiful Austrian castle that was founded approximately in 1080 and several improvements were made up to the 13th century. Friedrich and Reinprecht I of Wallsee in the year 1344 purchased the castle and it remained in their possession till 1350. The castle was then acquired by Archduke John Salvator of Austria in 1876 and later by Franz Joseph I of Austria in 1914. You could opt for a tour inside at Schloss Ort and admire the architectural beauty of this quaint castle. A bridge connects to the mainland and provides fantastic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The elegant rooms can be hired for private events and conferences on this day.
