Genesee Park, Golden Reviews
Great hike. Definitely not easy. Be ready for a bumpy ride from the highway to the parking lot. Various trail types, widths, degree of grade, and views. Plenty of shade but be careful in some parts of the trail that are narrow. Brought our dog and it was tight sometimes passing other groups. Highly recommended for experienced hikers.
A fine hike. You can barely hear the mean streets. As usual, wear appropriate gear and bring plenty of water.
Nice park with elk and buffalo enclosures. Picnic tables and some fire pits. Enjoyable place close to Denver without a large crowd.
My family and I had a wonderful time on trail and seeing bison. However, we were treated very rudely at a place called Genesse candy land. I went there pregnant with two children and the store owner had a mean attitude towards us.
Very beautiful! Wish there was camping! Bummer about fire restrictions! Would have been a great place for a bbq or reception.
